ABOUT LAWRENCE
Dr. Lawrence Loh is a storyteller and physician leader who practices as a public health physician while also serving as Principal for Champagne Shore Stories Inc.
As a physician leader, he has senior-level experience from work at all three levels of government in three Canadian provinces. He also holds adjunct professor status at the University of Toronto.
With Champagne Shore Stories, he is also an emerging writer and filmmaker that is presently engaged in bringing short-film, documentary, and feature film projects to life.
His work has been recognized with a Key to the City of Mississauga, a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, an honorary degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, and recognition on Toronto Life's 2021 list naming their Top 50 Most Influential Torontonians.
An graduate of Western University, the University of Toronto, and Johns Hopkins, Lawrence holds specialist fellowships in family medicine in Canada and public health and preventive medicine in Canada and the United States. He also holds a graduate certificate in creative writing from Humber College.
He lives in Toronto with his wife and daughters, who inspire his stories and collaborative project to celebrate connection, resilience, and aspirations for a healthier, fairer, and more inclusive world.
